What a movie.  Gidge and I went to see it last night, and I can't stop thinking about it.  How far off from the truth is it?  For those that haven't seen it, check it out.

My wife saw it with some co-workers, she said it was quite intense.

I thought it was a great movie.

That scene where he shines the light on those things standing around in a circle still gives me the creeps!!  LOL

Not a feel good movie.  But never the less my wife and I liked it.

I thought the movie was very interesting.  All I kept thinking the whole time was "How did they do that?"  Very cool movie

I'm a big,big fan of will smith's acting....Looking forward to see this movie next weekend.

I plan to see it as I remember the movie "The Omega Man", a 1971 science fiction thriller starring Charlton Heston. The movie is based on Richard Matheson's 1954 novel, I Am Legend. The screenplay was written by John William and Joyce Corrington, and the movie was directed by Boris Sagal. It was filmed in Technicolor with mono sound and ran for 98 minutes. The movie received a MPAA rating of PG in the U.S. The story was first filmed in 1964, under the title The Last Man on Earth, with Vincent Price in the lead role. It is based as is the third adaptation of the story, I Am Legend, starring Will Smith, on the same Richard Matheson's 1954 novel.

The only gripe I had about the movie was the ending.  They could have been more creative!  That's all I'm going to say so that I don't spoil it for anyone.   ;D

I can relate.

I still have nightmares remembering Muddy's "crack" pose.

I really like the movie.  It reminds me of "Cast Away"

I absolutely hated it.  What a waste.  I came into this movie expecting some action/adventure, and the original thought of "Ok, so this is pretty cool," but it progressively got worse.  I liked the undergound "nightseekers," but after the dog died, it seems like the movie died.  The plot eroded, and then the ending.

:o

Horrible.  Will Smith needs to come out with something better than this.

It was not what I was expecting.  Less action and more talking to his little friend.

Yeah.  I was expecting something more.

What did you think about IRobot Hookemdown?  I really liked that one.  I'm not much of a sci-fi guy, but that was good.

Back to the I Am Legend movie, it was just depressing.  I mean, there were no positives.  I guess that's why I didn't relate.

Ah come on guys give will a break...  He save and that weird hair guy saved the planet a few moos ago ;D

I, Robot was an excellent film.  "I told you so just don't cut it anymore"

My buddy has it on dvd   but jim beam wouldnt let me finish the whole movie. What i saw was interesting though cant wait to finish it

If I remember correctly ;)the book wasn't just crammed with action and did have a "different" ending. I didn't see the one with Vincent Price (just can't picture him as the lead in that movie). Did see the one with Charlton Heston and did think "don't judge a book by it's movie". Hope they did it better this time...

Overall it was an ok movie, ending kinda didnt fit for me

I got the book for Christmas and it was just OK.  I remember the Charleston Heston version of the film and it was again just OK at the time.  With the new movie out, I would doubt that it would be much of an improvement over the original story.  I guess I will wait till it comes out on cable or DVD to see it.

This movie kinda has the same premise as one of my Favorite Movies of all time "28 days after". Except that "I am Legend" has less action and gore. I still like 28 days after allot better. I have yet to see its sequel hopefully thats just as good.
