Fluids (not beer) and rest.

For the sore throat you could gargle with some salt water. You could always try some Vitamin C although a few of my classes lately suggest it really does nothing for colds.

That was good  ;)

Really I always chug as much premium orange juice as I can stomach. Also drink hot tea with honey and lemon and a splash of beam or jack don't hurt neither.

Lots and lots of Sunny D!

Whiskey and honey...Throw the honey out the window and chug the whiskey.

The hangover will make you forget the rest.

Gargle hot water mixed with baking soda and salt to get rid of the sore throat.

I've had a light cold for about a week now.

when I was playing lacrosse in college a swift 4 mile run would sweat any illness out of my body but,,,,,,,,,,that was 10 years ago,,,,not to beat the alcohol thing to death but a chilled shot of Patron or everclear still to this day puts my sore throut to rest,,,its probably just agitated from post nasel drip from the fall season coming upon ,,,I get sick with every change of the seasons :'(

Peppermint Schnapps also can cure a sore throat.

Lots of water.

Minimum of 200 acres, sit in the middle of it and cast alot, you'll feel better.

I'm waiting for "what color drawers do you guys wear?" :D

Purple  8-)

Sleep (like 8 to 10 hours a night)

Eat more

Drink plenty of OJ and/or take vitamin C tablets

Fresh air (I like LBH's tip!)

A trick I use for sore throats is drinking extremely hot (I'm talkin McD's lawsuit hot) tea. It's scald any germ that might be lurking and will loosen up any flem that's back there too! Obviously, you're not going to be able to drink it right down, but take sips as big as you can. This works for me

Hope this helps

Purple drawers Jimzee??? TMI! LOL!

Drink lots of fruit juices. The real stuff, not kool-aid. The acid in them will cut the stuff out of your throat. Keep warm, when you get cold your body will work to keep warm and not fight the cold.

Stay away from the rest of us until you are better.

For a sore throat, gargle with Listerine then drink some hot tea. After you finish the tea gargle with Listerine again.

Oh and none of that minty listerine you need the original orange death flavored stuff.
