Crossing my fingers!

Featured Replies

I just got news this morning that I passed my initial interview at the jail and I go in Thursday for a 4 hour orientation.  The orientation is to solidify that this is what I want ( yes it is! ) and to make sure I don't do something like freak out when I go in there.  Send a little prayer up for me if you would.

Here in Tennessee, no one needs an interview to be put in jail,

but we do charge for both lodging and meals. Excise facilities

and "social interaction" are free.

:D

BTW, Good luck!

I'm gonna check it out and make sure this is it.  I'm hoping for a long sentence also.  ;)

I wouldn't do that, once they get you in there they don't want to let you out. And the food is horrible. ;D

Good luck!!

If it is what you want, I hope they give you a life sentence.

Remember to decide on the Job/career before the paycheck.  I thought that job was what I wanted to do too, for about 3 days.  Glorified babysitting is not what I wanted to do the next 30 years, no matter what the pay!

My first full time job straight out of highschool was a correctional officer.  I did it for 2 years and left to just test other waters.  Needless to say I've always wanted back in this line of work.  I'm working on my college degree in criminal justice and I'm hoping this will be a door that lets me decide exactly what I want.

G. Gordon Liddy said that he would never understand why someone would sign up to spend everyday in prison. :P
