No matter how girly/feminine it may seem.....

If you are going to have a medical procedure done on a hairy part of your body (leg/butt cheek). Shave, wax, use Nair, do something. I just spend an hour and a half in agony trying to rip off about 5' of tape holding on gauze after having some work done today. Sacrifice the pride and just do it. This was just awful.

What a weiner... ;D

Next time use Goof Off to soften the adhesive.

Why not just stay shaved down in case of an emergency sticky situation?  That'll teach ya.   ;D

Tin, this is not a common manhood problem...

I'm not so sure I agree with you on that Tin.  When I had my ACL surgery they shaved most of my leg--from about mid calf up to mid thigh.  That was mid-November.  It still looks bare even now.  I might prefer the quick rip

The quick rip was not an option. I currently have stitches and a drain in me. I'm still cranky from the anesthesia too... :-/ ;D

I had that problem when I had my hernia surgery. Only the nurse had to spend 10 minutes shaving some pretty sensitive areas. Looking back I SHOULD have known but at the time, i was so preoccupied with the surgery, it just never dawned on me. I wish the doc had said something about it before the procedure I would have taken care of it.

^^^ I just had the ole hernia surgery done last month.  Pride just takes a backseat when this happens.  I also have to mention the fact that there was a (I'm guessing) 20 y/o HOT nurse in training with me.  :D

Tin are you still battling the spider?

Razors and nair are for wimps.

A couple shots of bourbon and some duct tape will usually do the trick. ;D

They did the same thing to me only in little square patches on the sides of my calves before back surgery.  They had to attach these monitoring pads on my legs.

Tin,  I DO understand what you are talking about.  That 6" tape that they taped me up with after shoulder surgery didn't feel real good coming off either.  A few days later another nurse came in and removed the staples.  I remarked about how the staple removal wasn't as bad as the tape removal as she noticed some stubble on my shoulder.  She said, "Well at least they shaved you before putting the tape on."  I told her "No" and that the stubble was from them ripping the tape off.  OUCH!!

You guys need to lose the shag carpet.

You guys need to lose the shag carpet.

It's no use.  The older I am, the hairier I get.

Hair grows from a hair follicle which you either have or don't

on any area of your body. So how is it that after 50 years of

dormancy, guys suddenly have hair growing out of their ears?
