Lonesome Dove is at the top of my list.

The Big Lebowski

To kill a mockingbird. They just don't make movies like that anymore. I don't know why I like it so much. Just such a pure storyline. That was Robert Duvall's big screen debut.

The Terminator

Thanks. Shawshank is right there as well. My wife does not understand why I will sit down and watch these movies start to finish or even if I catch them already in progress. I would also have to put Braveheart in as well. Got a strong bit of Scottish hearitage.

The Longest Yard.

Another for Braveheart.

Do you converse with the Almighty?

Like to many to list a favorite.

Second-hand Lions

If you have not seen it, it is well worth the watch. Robert Duvall, Michael Caine, no special effects, very little swearing, just good old-fashioned acting.

Also, Tombstone, Unforgiven, and The Right Stuff rank right up there.

As I read the posts about some of the older classics, the original Twelve Angry Men comes to mind. Great movie.

As was the original Ocean's Eleven

Good Will Hunting

some great choices here, I love shawshand redemption and good will hunting, both great movies.

One of my faves is american history x. Most people can't look past the racism of the movie and cast it off because of that. I look at it more as a movie about someone who makes some extremely drastic changes in life, learns from his mistakes, pays the consequences of his actions, and as a result of what he's been through becomes a better person. (I'm in no way, shape or form racist, so please don't take it that way)

I also love full metal jacket, I can watch that movie over and over.

Space balls is also a big fave of mine, and I love all the star wars movies.

Good Will Hunting

Good movie, can't remember how times I watched that movie over and over again.

One of my favorites off the top of my head is Predator

The Godfather, a novel for television......1977

The first two Godfather films were re-edited together in chronological order with additional footage added.

Run time 434 minutes

Third vote for The Big Lebowski here. It's the funniest movie I've ever seen.
