Why is Hawaiian Punch so delicious!??!

I used to drink this stuff as a kid.  Publix had it on sale for 5 bucks for 3 of of the big jugs of it.  Bought it for the kids.  I know it's probably not all that good for me, but d**n, I forgot how good this stuff was!

That stuff gives me indigestion something fierce! It's too strong. Now if you mix about 3/4 Punch with 1/4 sprite, I'm in business :)

i actually thought it got less and less delicious the older i got. are you sure you just weren't really thirsty?

ever tried dr pepper mixed with pomegranate juice?

You know, thats probably what it is.  I'll have to read the label to see how much sugar is in it.  Gotta be a ton.

just finished a big jug of it. i cant drink alot of it at one time , but the blue one and the tropical lime one are just great.

lol, if it was sugare you'd be ok.  It's that high fructrose syrup stuff, which is really bad for you...

Try the purple kind. It's one hundred times better

I love the stuff. I usually take it fishing with me.

There's really not that much difference between them. Syrup is made of 55% fructose and 45% glucose (I think...), both of which are monosaccharides. Table sugar is sucrose, which is a disaccharide.  I've actually read a few articles recommending syrup over table sugar.

In conclusion: Both of them taste good and make you fat. ;D

That's great... if you want to poison your kids.

Hooked... you may want to click the above link and do some further investigating by reading articles not written or funded by corn manufacturers. As bad as sugar is for you, HFCS is way worse. Your body processes sugar and HFCS very differently. Here's more research on the topic:

Thanks for the link Hooked. Looks like they measured the immediate effects after consumption versus the long term effects reported in the other links. Technically they're both right. Hey, who knew Hawaiian Punch could be so educational???

:)

That would make a pretty good looking wrap on a boat.

Now that I think about it, it would look super B.A  :)
