Gang members should not receive the privilege of the 3 Strikes Rule. You're in a gang and get busted, You go to sleep. Permanently.

Got 'em around here. They were implicated in a nasty shootout at a park. They make the bloods and crips look like the boy choir.

iirc , theyre from mexico.

a while back , i heard they would go into peoples houses , kill everyone inside and take whatever they could get. mainly grow operation houses but sometimes regular homes as well. 

We have over here in Oregon too, although they're pretty rare. The big gangs in my area are the surenos and nortenos, as well as a bunch of skinhead gangs. The skinheads tick me off more than the others.

What I'd like to know, is why they seem to glorify these low life gangsters on t.v..? Keeping in mind they have no problems shooting it out in a public setting, killing small kids, and innocent people.

These guys are cowards to say the least, doing drive by's ect.

I say put them all on a deserted island, and let em have at it..

Even in the small (pop. 15,000) town where I live, I see their graffiti everywhere. I don't know how much of it is serious and how much is wannabees, but there sure is a lot of it.

If the graffiti is there, it should be taken seriously.  Wannabe or not.

Wannabes can easily transition into gonnabe.

A town to the south of here has a meat packing plant that has had immigration issues and apparently some gangs.  There was a string of break ins last summer in our town, which is largely older people.  Most of these happened during the day and were non violent, no one home, or little resistance. 

One day, they broke in a house, and came to find a shotgun with a threatening finger behind it. 

That was the end of gangs around here.

I'm sure we have gangs here with all the drug traffic and the chicken plant only 15 minutes away (that place is hit weekly by immigration). The only "tag" I have seen around here is juice... Never heard of them though.

Yes, we have members/branches of that gang in my county. I arrested 3 of its member on RICO charges. They are now doing 15 years.

And I hope they screw up in prison and get an additional 15 years. These guys were big BULLIES when grouped together but total pu****s when alone.

By the way, some of their members were responsible for "drive by" shootings and assaults. 

After watching a doc on MS a couple of years ago I was fishing the ICW in Lantana, Florida about 4 in the morning.  A Lantana patrolman happen to cruise into the park where I was fishing and we struck up a conversation, I

then asked about MS in the area, his reply Yep, we got them a few blocks from here..........I seldom hit that spot anymore.

Yep, we've got them here along with a portion of any other gang you've ever heard of. When whole areas of the city are controlled by one or the other you have to be very careful where you drive and what color of clothing you wear. Houston is loaded with a little of all.
