The wife and I had an awesome dinner tonight followed by this kick ars desert.  Blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and vanilla ice cream atop rich, melted chocolate (no, it wasn't Hersey's syrup) and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Dude, that looks really good! Did you make that?

That looks amazing. Is that an ice cream cone?

BDog- I wish I could make desert like that.  We ate at a steak and seafood restaurant.

OHIO- Yes, it was a waffle cone.

I say it is diabetic death on a plate.

It looks good enough to die for.

The only thing bad in that dessert is the waffle cone, and the fact that the portion size is too big.  I'm diabetic (insulin dependent), and I wouldn't hesitate to share that dessert with someone.

It's fruit and ice cream...

I mean I'm sure it was good, but come on! We're not talking about pie or a fancy cake or anything!

Let me guess...

Foie Gras appetizer

Caesar Salad.

New York Strip, rare, with asparagus and mashed potatoes.

2005 Caymus Select.

Finished off with this dessert and a 1963 Croft.

Ok I'm now hungry.   :)

That stuff has a thirty minute bathroom trip written all over it. ;D
