  • Rifle and pistol, a couple thousand at least. Enough loading components for another 20k. I shoot competitively so I go through a pile.

I would like to have 10,000rds of every caliber we shoot inhouse someday. When the family goes shootin we blow off 500rds of every caliber on a good day. The ammo doesn't last long here. I reload plus i purchase ammo on sale and clearance too. I just upgraded to the progressive reloading presses too. It speeds up the reloading.

A gun without ammunition is just an expensive club. I have lots of ammo in each caliber or gauge that I have a gun in.

right now i have about 2,000 rounds of 12GA :eyebrows:

from 2003-2008 i had at least 40,000 a year lol :respect-059:

but i also used to be on 4 trap leagues, and shot competatively across the country and averaged around 1,000 rounds a week.

very little rifle and pistol rounds though- 200.... maybe

About 250 rounds for my .22 rifle.

Have a trigger lock on it so it is safe from others using it.

I carry my rounds in a metal tool box that stay locked for my shot gun and .357 mag. The has a trigger lock on it and my my .357 mag hammer is locked. I have to be precautions with my 4 year old son. When I get to much or many to store I probably invest into a lock chest.

I shoot competitively so I go through a pile.
