Went out to the beach, caught 2 snook and 4 jacks then I get hit and reel this in..........trumpet fish.

there in lies the true beauty of ocean fishing in florida. i love when i go offshore, surf fish, back country and catch something i have never caught before. right on snook!

man that is crazy!! sucks i dont live near florida or the shore here in va to do that kind of fishing but im post to be taking a weekend fishing trip to va beach soon. hopefully fish are still biting then. does any one no if drums are still in? and how long?

Little mouth,  but a long way from the lips to the gullet.

Your lucky,  sometimes they suck a lure way down into that trumpit and it's tough to get it back out.

Trumpets don't fight much, but snook do.

Rolo don't come I didn't have a strike the last 2 days......lol.

This time of the year you either go offshore for sails and dolphin or do freshwater fishing. I'm a die hard beach or ICW fisherman, I keep doing it all winter long.
