Striper, blues, fluke

Featured Replies

Had a good day of fishing in and just outside of the Manasquan river. Caught some striper, a lot of fluke and a bunch of blues.

WTG !  My wife and I were stationed on the Jersey shore for 13 years - we loved it.  The whole time I LIVED for Striped bass fishing ~ nothing like it !  Man I really miss it and yes I'm jealous.  Fishing off the jetties at night was my favorite.

Red, where are you fishing for them? are you landlocked or you fish offshore?

Beautiful fish.........wish we had stripers down here.  My fishing mates from Long Island tell me snook fishing and stripers are real similar except the stripers run bigger.  My biggest snook is only 35#, I fish for them daily.

Thats a nice haul!!

I love fishing for Fluke, one of my favorite fish to eat.

SirSnookAlot, I am the opposite. One of these days I need to get down there for some snook, they look like a lot of fun.

Joe, thanks and they were delicious! We caught a bunch of them, too bad all but those 4 were short fish.

Nothing like a big striper boil  :) out here in the delta youll be bass fishing and then u hear some explosions and there are seagulls everywhere and your spooks are being busted and crankbaits getting slammed and then sometimes they dissapear as fast as they came. I can't believe how hard those things pull i've had a 2 lber pull little bits of drag off one of my baitcasters. Our biggest so far is a 25#er
