I used to think Mike Iaconelli was a show off, loud mouth.  But he kinda grew on me cuz he can fish and he tries real hard.  The thing that won me over was a particular thing he did, of course, with the cameras on.  He was reeling in a fish when the line broke on him.  Most folks would have said oh well, tough break.  The line was floating on top of the water, he quickly reached down, grabbed it and pulled the bass up with his hands saving the catch.  I was pretty blown away by that little move.  Apparently, that was legal.  I've been a fan ever since....

Not sure if he is gonna win it but I know he will try his best so I'll be pulling for him.

Yes Ike always gives it his all.  It was sweet when he dove in to grab the line on that fish he broke off but yet had enough mind to keep one hand on the boat to still make it legal.  I will always root for Ike.

I didn't know the keep the one hand on the boat rule to keep it legal.  That is interesting.....

Ike was my favorite but unless he has one heck of a day and I mean one heck of a day he is pretty much out.  But KVD has put himself in a great positiong to win his third Classic.
