Toyota Tundra Women's Angler of the Year, Kim Bain, will be the 1st woman to fish in the Bassmaster Classic & compete for $500,000. Kim was interviewed by Katie Couric last week & the segment will air tomorrow night (Thursday) at 6:30pm ET/PT on the CBS Evening News.

Mike Iaconelli will also be featured on tonight's interview.

I saw the piece and Kim came across as a very stong, confident angler.

There is no reason she couldn't win it all. Catching fish is mostly about finding

them, then presentation and lure selection. It seems to be that the only

disadvantage women have is the restroom break!

With all the spectator boats, I wonder how they are going to handle the logistics of that.  

I saw the piece they did on her last night and overall I think they did a very nice job on it EXCEPT when they kept showing a preview when they were going to a commercial break and it was all saltwater fishing.  But all in all they did a good job.
