is there any certain brand of tubes that has the most impact or is it mainly size and color or all of these i mainly fish for smallmouth and have used some different brands but havent realy picked up on any certain brand am i missing anything?

For Smallmouth I really like the Case Plastic in RR45 color. I dont know why, but the smallies here love that tube.

Here in West Virginia id say Gitzits are probally the most used. I really like there 2.5" summer craw in the summer when the bite gets tough, just really hard to beat IMHO. on the other hand i havent seen a tube bait that wont catch a fish.

I'm a fan of cabin creek too. I personally prefer green pumpkin but smoke works well too.

Im no expert in jig fishing, but the ones I use and are productive for me are Yum tubes, and Berkley powerbait tubes. I like the colors black/blue flk, greenpumpkin, and pumpkinseed.

I buy 4" tubes by the hundred and they don't have any name on the packages, but they work.
