Only 1 bite short of the perfect trip !

Featured Replies

Had a nice afternoon on the water (besides a little rain). Wind stayed down though. And I even saw two Bald Eagles !

Anyway, I went through my whole rout. Never saw another boat on any of my spots. Got to use a sweet brand new Okuma rod and reel, throwing a sweet brand new Hud....... but never had a touch :-( Oh well, like I said, I was only "one bite short of the perfect trip" :-)

I'll get one the next time.

Peace,

Fish

Fish what lake/river where you fishing? If you don't mind me askin?

I was at Lake Amador Sunday to reserve a camp ground for Memoral weekend. The lake is way way down.  :P

Sounds like your trip is about the same as my YEAR fish!

As always, Great Attitude!

I wish everyone would take this thread to heart. Fishing is about percentages.

If you fish for big fish, your numbers are going to be lower than the guy fishing for "keepers."

If that bothers you, change your approach a little and catch more fish!

Wow, that really sums it up.

My god, a fish chris post in the outings section with out a pic of a double digit monster! I'd never thought I'd see the day  ;D

If you had an indian name it would be "glass half full"  :)
