Two More Morons...

Featured Replies

I went to the lake this morning and while I was unloading my boat you'll never guess who showed up at the ramp. KVD!!! While I was teaching him how to properly launch his Nitro, Rick Clunn pulled up. After telling Clunn the how getting in touch with my inner fish helped me become a better fisherman, they both challenged me to a mini-tournament. I explained to them that I normally don't mess with the small boys, but if the pot was big enough I was game. They came up with $50,000 a piece. I called my two main sponsors, Bass Pro Shops AND Cabela's, then my two secondary sponsors, Triton AND Ranger, and they all agreed to pitch in to pay my entry fees. When we came to weigh in KVD and Rick Clunn didn't even bother to weigh their puny bags of bass. I caught a 5 bass limit weighing 82-3. My biggest bass was 22-6 (Smallmouth of course), my PB for North Carolina. You can understand from reading my post how mad I was by this point. So, instead of accepting the $100,000 prize from those two chumps, I just loaded my boat and went home. >:(

*I might have lied a little ;D ;D ;D

I talked to KVD and Clunn yesterday (We are neighbors). They said it was amazing watching you throw all the prototype lures from Lucky Craft. KVD also said he never saw anyone that owned 2316 Huddleston Trout (very impressive). They both told me that your 43 foot long Ranger w/ an 8000 HP Mercury was the coolest boat/motor combo they had ever seen. I bet that thing gets up on plane in a hurry!!!!

Anyway, they wanted me to tell you that they will challenge you again sometime in the near future. ( I have their phone numbers if you need them.)

BTW, I am mad too. Just in case you couldnt tell.   LOL   ;D

(This is fun)

I feel like I'm gonna fall out of my seat  ;D  ;D  ;D

BTW, I caught a 83 lb Warmouth while we were fishing that day. Before you call BS... I have pics! I can't find them right now, but they're here somewhere. It may take a little while to dig through all of my giant fish pics though. I'll post soon.

Great Stuff!!!!!

That was a great post.  It sounds like it's at least "based on a true story". :)

PreachBass, I was believing your story right down the wire, because there are no liars in Bass Resource.

But then you claimed that you walked away from $100,000, and now I beginning to wonder

if you didn't Fluff-Up some other parts of that story :-/ :-? :-/
