How much you think she weighs??

Featured Replies

Caught this one on a  gold ratltrap.  One front hooks was just on the edge of lip, but came loose from all the fussin I had to do to get set up for the pic.

didn't have my scale so can't say for sure, but it looks a hefty critter.   What y'all think?

Hard to tell.

Big black, bugged out eyes. Looks like its been around the block. Kind of a big head...... I'd say about 215-220........

oh wait.... you mean the fish? 6lbs 7.984567809 ozs

4 lbs +. Glad to see some pics Mr. Avid!

That looks like a 5lb shoulder raise.  Looks like your shoulder is doing pretty good.  I like how your tucked the rod in like that  ;D

Nice fish, see ya next weekend.

Al

+1

2.5lbs, probably would of gone five if it hadn't had its tail amputated ;).

Hard to tell.

LoL that is pretty funny joke but kind of mean too.

Anyway that fish is probably around 5 pounds but its hard to tell from that picture. It looks like a nice bass though.

Dan up and spilled the beans.   Yep.  just so y'all know,  that fish was under 2 lbs, but camera angle, and holding the fish close to the lens makes it seem like a purty hefty LMB>    No photoshop or anything other than positioning.   The moral to the story is that there is absolutely no way you can guess the weight of a fish from a photo.

4 biz.  not really

Not bad kid.

You are definitely MIT material (mook in training that is)

Great fish!!  Who knows how big it is.  Mine are always bigger by the time I get home!! ::)

Good fish avid !!!  4.5 - 5 maybe .... hard to tell from pictures.

Based on the width of the camera lens, the tilt of your hat, and the lower left quadrant of the bass's operculum, I would put its weight right about 15 pound 4.3776514 ounces give our take a tad.

not even close to 5 .,.,2 mabey ,,, just most people cant tell by a pic but there is no way its 5, if it was 5 you could stick your fist in its mouth
