Got the Toucan out of the shop today. I've been itching all day to take her out and run her but at 106 it was a bit too warm...... I kept saying .... if the temp drops below 95 by 7 I'm going.....It didn't, I did. At 7:10 and 98 degrees we launched......just to run the motor.

First, anyone that knows me, knows I never, NEVER go on the lake to "run the motor" She did run good.........so of course that meant time for fishing..

Surface temp was 92.4....Joe caught a 6 incher.........Me, I hadn't even had a bite. Didn't matter I was out there, one more time. At 8, I called "last cast"! The skeeters had found me big time..... Just as I had my kreature almost in, it hit. Took drag and the smile was there..........It wasn't big, just 3 1/2lbs. but what a last cast.....We headed in and were loaded and backing in the drive at 8:27......not bad........

You suck.  ;D

So now not only do you kiss fish, you can call them out by saying " last cast"

I wish I'd kept count of how many times this year I've called "Last Cast" and stuck one. Must be something bout the kiss that keeps 'em coming back for more......try it, you might like it..
