Do you fish different lakes for smallmouth vs. largemouth or are both species found in all lakes throughout the region?

Alot of the lakes around here have a mix of them Road, although some are primarily

Largemouth lakes.

All of the pics here are from very well known and heavily fished lakes  although the effort

it requires to find fish on them does have its rewards..........

Hey Bassbum do you work for Bear Paw?  I saw an episode of lunkerville that showed the guy who owns the company and stuff fishing with Mikey D.  Look like some great baits, though I've nevere used em'.  Do you have a link to their site or any info for us guys gettin' pulled around by the bait monkey?  Nice fish by the way!  For a yank you guys really do still have some nice bass up there.  I can't find them here in Virginia... man I got problems I need to work out I guess haha.

Nice fish in my book.  I could catch that size all day long and be happy.  I have noticed that northern largemouth in the New England areas look more green and have a more defined lateral line than the largemouth below the Mason Dixon line.  Anyone else notice this?  Beautiful fish!!!
