Talk about tough fishing.  Went to Coyote Lake here in Gilroy, home to a few monster bass.  I comitted to throwing a 6" Mission Fish all afternoon and managed to catch one nice largemouth.   Obviously a young fish, but look at it's belly!  These fish eat well.

That sure is a pretty looking bass.  Sometimes fish can be stubborn and hard to find.  Way to keep after them.

P.S  I bet you were the best dressed fisherman on the lake that day though.

I figure if I don't catch any fish, atleast I'll look good trying. ;D

cool lookin' fish man.  imagine one with those proportions at 27-28 in! :o

stay on 'em man.

That thing looks over inflated.........Wish they all did.

Better than getting skunked.  Nice job

Who told you my plan?  :-? ;D

So how was it getting the boat up that access rd and launching?

Being so close and considering the collection of gear you've accumulated, we should pound that non stop when I come.  Big baits, all day, nice and close to home.

Start learning it partner ;)

Good-lookin' fish there, and thanks for letting us see the background  ;)

Wasnt difficult at all, just ahd to take it really slow around some of those hairpins.  I really dig that lake, I KNOW there are donkey's swimming in there, so the potenital for a huge fish is there bud.

Absolutly!  I stopped by that place one evening on my way down south.  I was fishing a 10" power worm and hooked into something I couldn't turn.  Nice fish!  :)
