After a boring weeks work, weekend came at last..so i offed at my favorite place for bassin.. The wind was like the devil again, so i chose a corner between 2 hills for my expedition.

Upon arrival i noticed that the water had a great visibility which made me particular happy since i wanted to try some new lures.

After throwing the new x-rap sub-walk a few times i had a surface strike which totally surprised me landing this first one

After some few casts i saw some shadows following it but nothing.

I switched then to a bomber jerkbait and landed these 2

I stroke this one after a while and tried to record some live action with 2 bass following it but unfortunately they are not visible in the foto

I changed fishing spot afterwards and tried a while with some t-rigs. Had a few good bites and got this one

On the next cast i caught a fish-finger sized bass  >. At the end of the day i landed a big pre-spawner which was a bit weird and big..

Man atleast you have had a chance to lip some bass!  The ice is still covering most of the lakes here in Northern Illinois.
