My brother-in-law and I went out to wade a grass flat on Kentucky lake yesterday as the sun rose.  I caught 13 largemouth and 1 smallmouth, all on a  black cavitron buzzbait and rage tails toads.  It was a really awesome day!  Nothing really huge, but it was great being able to catch some fish after being gone for so long.  Only bad thing is I head back over to the sandbox on the 13th.  Oh, the new TD-Zillion anniversary edition reel is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! 7.3:1 makes toads and buzzbaits so effortless!  Hope ya'll enjoy the pics!

Yeah that smallie was kinda greenish.  It was a smallmouth though...wish I woulda got another pic at a different angle. (I know my fish dude, I've been doin this for a little while)  Yeah, Ron, I took my oldest daughter out the 3rd day that I was home, but I gotta find the cord for the digital and I will post a couple of her.  And yeah it is a cavitron, black with a red blade.  I love that buzzbait!

You had to rub it in didn't you.  Well, congrats and what are you doing in the water man(lol) I ain't getting in there with you unless we got a boat dude.  I know the feeling of catching bass after being in the sandbox, enjoy the time you have left, man trust me.  Congrats on the fish, kentucky will be our spot when we are both back in the states, i'm planning on getting a boat around feb, right before I get home.  Can't wait to hook up with you again.

That water can feel great on a hot summer day can't it?

Yeah Simp the water is awesome in the summer time once it gets hot out.  Only bad thing on Kentucky lake are all the d**n biting flies up in the grass and shoreline.  Ron, you'll always have a seat on my boat (when I get it), and I'm pretty sure Shannon would feel the same with his.  

Nice going! Wading sure is a fun way to fish.
