I went out again this evening for the last hour of daylight. I was using shiners and caught 3. I caught the 2 smallest on my U/L with #4 mono and #6 mono leader. The biggest, about 3 pounds, was caught on my other spinner with #10 mono.

Let me know if you guys/gals want bigger fish or different techniques. I was trying to keep the fish somewhat small so that yall don't get too jealous. I'll try and get out tomorrow if it's not too warm.

#10 mono.

warmer (vince) and I went to Kissimmee this afternoon for a few hours today. We caught about 15 total, mostly small but a few keepers. This one is the biggest of the day.

While you're eating your acorns I'm catching 15-20# Jack Crevelles, Spanish Mackeral and Bluefish and all I have to do is drive a few miles to the beach, then on the way home I pick up a few bass and peacocks.....EAT YOUR HEART OUT !!

Ya'll Southerners stink! :P

Bassn Blvd, dude, you need a haircut :P

Sidenote-cabin fever makes Northern peoples do and say odd things out of jealousy. No ice was harmed in the making of this statement.

My wife won't let me cut it short or I would, plus it keeps my ears warm in the winter.  Didn't sonny have short hair? I can't remember that far back.

Didn't sonny have short hair? .

That's Sonny Bono ( Sonny & Cher)

Sonny Crockett...............Miami vice........Don Johnson

Guys, don't be tormenting the yankees with pictures of bass and pretty weather. They might want to move down here and the last thing we need is more sandals-with-black-socks-wearing, golf cart driving, early bird special at the cafeteria eatin', pants up to the ribcage wearin' retirees down here. ;D

We just got another 8" of snow this afternoon. It's dark now, kids are out of school on vacation with new sleds and junk. The neighborhood is lit up in white Xmas lights, main st looks like a postcard.

After dinner, the golf courses and local hills will get crowded with kids wrapped in all kinds of winter gear......... sleds, toboggans, and cafeteria trays ready to go as soon as they finish building the ramp at the bottom. Moms with hot chocolate, skating on frozen ponds, fires in the snow to warm up by, building snowmen, snowball fights...........I could go on

Right now, I'm sipping a hot chocolate with Rumple Minze and heavy whipped cream, getting ready to head out into the fun myself.

My point is, we fish 8-9 months a yr and then have all this stuff too,....when do you guys get to go sledding??

Y'all think we have it bad but I honestly feel for anyone who misses out on days like this. I understand some people need warm weather for health reasons but geez,...if Muddy can handle it..... ::)

Keep on catchin' em boys, I'm goin' sleddin'

That sounds like soooo much fun.  I've never seen snow in person.  I sure wish I had friends/family in the north I could visit just to see the real winter.

Yea, Yea, Yea.  I shoveled enough of that crap as a kid.  I was not always stuck (help, I fallen and I can't get up) in the land of December sun burns.  But once I was old enough to get out, I drove 700 miles south for good.

love that!

i will say that in august, about 2pm in a tournament on a dead calm florida day with glasses fogged, sunscreen stinging my eyes, blind mosquitos swarming me, gnats mixed in, sweat literally dripping off of my nose, flipping miles and miles of grass lines, and 0 fish in the boat... i thought: what is wrong with me?

Exactly, it's all relevant, life is what you make it, .......wherever you are.

I'm out for the night, Happy New year.
