That day with the new dog is really throwing me off.  I've got all the tackles and rods ready.  Boat is ready except I had to build a new livewell lid the other night.  The latch isn't working and I'm too tired to mess with it tonight, I was gonna finish it Wed night.  Also didn't get a haircut..... guess I'll drag my hippie head down. no time for a cut.  

Now I find out tonight my son is having about 20 buddies over for a bonfire in the backyard after he gets off work at 10pm...   :

I'm a completely unorganized mess right now but it'll all come together in the AM.  Looks like a 8am start given the livewell lid situation.

Snag a 2lb + Carp off the fish feeding dock for Burley so his manhood isn't too badly injured this week.

I'm locked, cocked and ready to rock!  I'll be on the road by about 7:00, which should put me at the lodge around 4:00.  That's 1600 hrs for you military types.  

I'm out the door as soon as I get home from work in the morning. I hope to get rolling by 9am and I'm going to take my time getting there. I'm going to shoot to get there between 6 and 9pm. If I get to tired to drive I'll call somebody to tell them that I'm stopping at a hotel.

I guess I'm partially to blame for the bad weather Sun/Mon.  On the two big trips I took last year, I brought snow to Guntersville and a tornado to Russell.

If I wasn't going, it would be sunny and 70 every day for the next week.

After all that work on the boat building covered storage it still isn't enough.

I'm almost feeling bad for you guys going down.  Snow showers on Monday.  18-21 mph winds.  Post cold front conditions with bluebird skies after the snow passes.

But, alas... I dont feel sorry for you because I wont be able to make the trip.  I just *** you.  Plus it's impossible to get a guy from Michigan to feel sorry for anyone fishing in the cold and snow.

Just talked to Jimzee, they got their camp set up and they're getting ready to hit the water.

Me and smfisher are driving down now. I just spoke to Jimzee and they've boated 8 bass so far.

Keri and I arrived this evening, with LBH, and Idaho***er in tow! We've already met CJ, BigO, Bassinsergeant, BassinSoldier, Ghoti and his wife Mary, Long Mike, Triton21 (Kelly), and Firefightn15. So A LOT of the gang is here already!

My stomach hurts from laughing so much! This group is a riot! Wish y'all were here - you'd love it!

Just pulled in got Iceman his Fishing Liscense and now we are gona pass out for an hour.

5bass and I drove all night, rolled into the lodge this morning around 6, didn't have a room yet, so we hit the lake.  As soon as we launched, the lodge called and said they had our room ready.  Went fishing anyway...

Water got a little rough and we're quite tired.  Boated a few fish, nothing special... :-X

I've been up for 25 hours.  It is worth it.
