Here is a 5 pounder from yesterday, weighed on the Boga Grip.

Maybe a little decieving but I can still tell it's about that weight class even if you didn't tell us. If you look at the thickness of the jaw and tail and how broad the back is. That fish is proportioned well and the picture is taken properly. The ones that are harder to tell are the long lanky ones and the very short stubby footballs. The fish in my avatar is 10.5 lbs but when you got someone who can't work a camera....

yeah the bass in your avatar is obviously huge to the seasoned bass angler's eye. This fish in my picture any amateur would think is as big as the biggest bass in the basspro aquarium lol. I think the perfect all telling picture of a fish's size and weight belongs to "Broke ju" and his Cali bass he caught on his own handmade jig a couple of years ago. I hope he reads this post and posts a picture of that fish because it's perfect to show what a monster should look like in a picture.

Isn't that the fish in his avatar?

We have several guys that post great

photos of gigantic bass. Fish Chris and

his recent posting come to mind.

The bass pictured on this thread is a beauty,

too!

The bass in my avatar was caught two years ago in a golf course pond 300 miles away from the bass i caught here at my current location (school) lol.

I dont get it. what is decieving?

Right.Thats what I was saying too...It's a well taken photo.

Well, I'd say that that 5 lb'er looks bigger than the average 5 lb'er posted on the internet.... but on the other hand, I don't think the average photo of a 5 lb'er posted on the internet, does a very good job of conveying the actual size that fish appeared in real life !

About my photos;

I often have guys say, "Yea', but your holding it way out to try to make it look bigger" to which I always reply, "I'm not holding it way out, to try and make it look bigger than it was, but rather, to try and make it look as big as it really did, hanging from my own hand, 18 inches from my face.

Oh, nice fish :)

Peace,

Fish

Looks like 5lbs to me as well

The only deception I can gather from that pic is that you tell yourself the 'stache looks good...
