I want 'ONE' hard swimbait

Featured Replies

I am absolutely done shopping for anymore fishing tackle unless I need it, but I want to try a hard swimbait.

If I had the choice to only buy 1 hard swimbait. What would it be?

Brand, size and colour?

If you are gonna throw a Wake Jr. up there in Canada, make sure you have some heavy duty fluoro leader.

I am sure you know that pike love expensive stuff.   :D

If you can keep it from breaking off, either the Jr. or the Baby Wake would be good choices.  A Slammer would be great for you up there too

Looking into them.

Pike isn't an issue on the lakes I fish. There are a lot of lakes here in Canada and I fish ones that only have either all LMB or SMB.

Yeah, who I am I kidding, I want a REVO SX so badly.

Sebile Magic Swimmer?? :-?  Don't know of any others but I'm getting several of these for Christmas to try out myself.  Man they look great!!

If I could only fish one swimbait for the rest of my life, it would probably be the wake jr in blue trout. But you would probably have to buy a swimbait rod to throw it with, assuming you don't have one already. Oh yea, you'd also  have to buy a new reel to attach to that new rod.  Well don't forget about the correct line for the Wake Jr. as well.   ;D

So much for not buying anymore tackle  :D

UH OH.... I might end up with more than one now.

If I'm lucky, I might not buy a new rod and reel and just a couple of hard swimbaits.
