My son's first outing and fish

Featured Replies

I took my son down to the lake today for his very first fishing adventure. He was using my 7.5 Loomis flipping stick with an Abu Premier spooled with braid throwing a Lake Fork Magic Shad.

He lost the first fish, but managed to somehow get this one in.

Oh yea, my son is only 2.7 years old.

P.S.  Ok, I helped a little bit getting it in.

Nice fish.

Outstanding!

Beatiful young man.

He now has the "bug" and I know you and he will have many hours of fun fishing in the future.

Great catch, too.  :)

so cool.  and way to get him spoiled on the good equipment early.   if you ever try to give him a zebco 33 now, he'll just laugh at ya.

That's awesome and your photo's tell the entire story very well! The last one with you and your son is priceless  ;) Great Dads are in short supply throughout our society today... but that's obviously not a problem at your house

Thanks for the replies.  He finally said "yes" when I asked him if he wanted to go fishing. I had to PRY the rod out of his hands so I could have my turn ;D.  The little booger kept saying "No daddy, mine." Now if I can only get him to touch the fish.
