hi guys i recently ordered my first senko worms and i read some were that i will easily loose or tear up a lot of senko's if i wacky rig them, so i remember seeing this kind of like rubber ring the you place on the work and then you put your hook through it instead of the worm, and by doing this it save you a lot of worms. i can't remember the name of the product but i found this

I have this tool works great haven't had any problems with hook slipping out of the rubber ring but when i rigged the other way I did have problems with tearing the worm in half.

Same tool I have.  It works very well.

Had that tool about a year, works good.  I get my o-rings at the local Lowes or Home Depot in the plumbing section.

are the O-rings small enough to use on the 4in *** from *?

Just from my experiance I have found that clips work alot better than      o rings becuase they are cheaper and the worm doesn't get pulled out of them like it did when I used o rings.

Ever since I've been wacky rigging Senkos, I've use a simple, inexpensive band called "Goodies". These small, clear (some are colored), rubber bands are what the ladies use in their hair. Available at any Wally World store.

I double one on the end of my long nose pliers....pull a loop open with the bend of the hook....and insert the worm. Been using this technique for 4 years now with excellent success. Cheaper than O-rings too.  

A better, cheaper, more readily available way. Use electrical shrink tubing, just cut a short piece of tubing (1/8"- 3/16"), slip it over the bait, apply a little heat if the fit is not tight, slip the hook under the tubing, fish. The 3/8" diameter fits 5"-7" Senkos and copies well. You can also just put your hook through the tubing and bait and you won't get the occasional sling-off when you cast. No special installation tool is necessary.

i have that exact tool & i love it....GET ONE!!!!   i get the orings at lowes for cheap too...

The O ring tool works great.  

I went back to the 0 rings and use that same tool.  Tried the shrink wrap and unless you do up a bunch ahead of time it is hard to get them done properly on the boat with the wind blowing.  I melted several of the soft stick baits by accident and they either broke or were too weak in the area of the shrink wrap to work properly.

The O-ring tool works fine for me.  I've got red and black O-rings, just in case they want a "bleeding bait".

I have the skirt making tool from fishing skirts.

Just put a o-ring like you would a rubber collar,slip the senko in there half way,slide the o-ring off the tool and onto the senko and there you go.

Works as a multi-tool for slipping o-rings on or making skirts.  

In the spirit of "low budget", I broke the back end off your standard Sharpie marker, pulled out the colored felt and use the hollow back end as a DIY O-Wacky tool.  Works great and cost me nothing 8-)  I pick up the least expensive o-rings I can find.

Now if I can only stop spending money on cigars ;D  Any suggestions on a decent inexpensive med-full bodied maduro in 5x50?

Hey good idea! I always find dried out markers around here.I'm going to do this to one of them. 8-)

I ended up buying one with black and red O-rings from BPS.  It does work well.  Mostly to keep the O-rings handy.  The O-rings I got from BPS are the cheapest I have found.  Beats paying $0.25 a piece.

I've been using the heat shrink tube for a few years now and have had no issues with it. I don't bother heating it up if it doen't fit just right. You can get many different sizes and use them for your trick worms also. I run the hook thru the shrink tube and have not lsot a fish or a bait before it's time.
