what is your top megabass, lucky craft, sebile lure?

Featured Replies

I'm reading a lot of buzz about some of these lures and Im just curious what are your top picks of them and color?  I have had a little luck with the Lucky Craft moonsault chart. shad., and a few fish on a megabass mr-x cyclone aka tora, but nothing to brag about. Am I using the wrong ones? what about the vision 110, or the Sebile magic swimmer? I have actually done better on a Bomber model 6a brown craw. Thanks

lc...pointers, flat mini's and moonsaults.

megabass...deep x 100...tough little bait to beat at times.

Sammy in Ms American Shad going away.

Megabass Griffon SR-X in Killer Pink!!!!!!

Now that I think about it I might delete this post.

Lucky Craft Flat Mini MR in Mad Craw.

i only have one lure from those brands and its a magic swimmer so i guess thats my top one

My must have from those companies would be the Lucky Caft RC series 0.5 & 1.5 cranks, Lucky Craft Pointers,Flash Minnow & Sammy topwater baits. I have a few Megabass Griffon's but haven't used them enough to form an opinion, they did catch a few when I gave them a chance. I have become a big fan of the Sebile Flatt Shad, a great complement to the rattling lipless cranks that you probably already have. Though I haven't put in a lot of hours with it some have done quite well on the pro trail as well as other weekend anglers on their Magic Shad swimbait.

There's a good one for me too.

OK,But you cant tell anyone...........skeet reese char/rootbeer mr.Throw it into wood and hold on.

I think you would have to hang on if you threw Skeet Reese into wood, even if his hair was chartruese and he was drinking rootbeer.

I just picked up the Megabass  Xpod....I like the idea behind this,  that you can change the presentation method by transformation....I think im gonna do good with it as silly as the idea sounds.

As far as baits ive fished, ive caught more on pointers than anything else by these choices..

Are the LC RC .5 & 1.5 shallow runners, and where do you find the Ghost sunfish color?  whats the best fishing tactic for these, over shallow weed beds, shallow flats, etc.?  I got a Megabass griffon, but, its a little bity thing, seems it would catch more small fish, and be hard to throw.

The RC .5 is about the same size as the Griffon. The 1.5 is a great size crank. They both work well around wood and rock(rip rap).

You get them at BPS in Clarksville. You know where that is right?

LC BDS-1 with black spots on back and orange belly

Sebile Magic Swimmer 128-Halo Greenie

no megabass baits

Skilletsizebass the LC RC series runs app 2'-4', they do also offer a Deep Diving version as well. I have a few of the deep diver version  and they've been a solid bait so far but I haven't fished it enough to determine if it's a must have 5 star bait. App 2-3 times per year the RC cranks will be on sale for app $ 9.99, when that happens I plan picking up another dozen or so including their new one knocker version.
