Good one, got me good. I was reading this new article you wrote and couldn't believe it. You should have saved this story for Apirl 1st....lol

Bagwell's Bass Tactics

LOL That's the same thing Jay Kumar told me last night.

Man, I was about to go drive to all the tackle and sporting goods stores in L.A. just to buy all of their Senkos!! I'm glad I read the whole thing before doing anything like that. That was good...real good!! ;D

The final message is great.

What a way to start the year with your articles....gets all the attention... ::)

LOL That was pretty much the plan.

I came up with the idea a few weeks ago and

thought it would be amusing. Just to make sure I

wasn't going to get fired, I had to ask the boss at

Yamamoto if it was ok.

JT Bagwell

LOL...he probably loved it. I bet he wouldn't mind if people actually bought it for a little while. Just to buy some extra bags. ;)

;D

It would serve them right for not reading all the way through.

Gary Yamamoto didn't become a multimillionaire

by chopping down the Money Tree ;)

JT, when I clicked on <http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/bagwell/bagwells_bass_tactics_22.html>

on your email I was sent to the " Bad Cast - Sorry! The page you have requested does not exist or has moved." Do I need to do something to access your bass tactics page?

It's a bug in the text-only e-mails.  The correct link is http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/Bagwell/bagwells_bass_tactics_22.html

I'm working on fixing the bug.  In the mean time, you may want to change your e-mail client so that it reads HTML e-mails.

Thanks!

I read it at school today......LOL. You had me till the end; very well written! I was also thinking of going and buying out the stores!  ;D

Its like microsoft stops selling Windows OS ahahahahahaha

good one!!!!

Man JT, I'm glad I read the whole thing. About half way down the article I was ready to click out and go on a little online shopping spree for discontinued Senkos. You got us good. You know what they say about payback....

Had me going as well.  Like many of you, I was already formulating a plan to go stock up on senkos before the end!

JT=the new "Orsen Wells"

Like "war of the worlds" all over again,..you could of started a worldwide panic,...way to take chances, lol

Good stuff!

Bagwell, You DOG!!!   I read about half way through and starting thinking about how I was going to get as many of these I could.  Even the thought of pouring my own creeped into my thoughts!  I really had to tell myself not to panic!  That was a good one, JT!  You wait, you'll get yours....... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

LOL

Whoa, I have to say I have got some interesting

emails today.  Some contained some very unpleasant

names. lol

99% were friendly but some just made me laugh at

the ignorant name calling.

Heard from a pretty good source that I had the phones

ringing off the hooks at Yamamoto central.  lol

JT Bagwell

Are you sure GY didn't put you up to this as some sort of market research tool? ;)

Well folks, it appears the IQ-Challenged people in this world fell for this joke hook, line, and sinker.  No kidding, these people just didn't understand this was a joke, and took it literally.  At first, Yamamoto HQ enjoyed the extra attention from the phone calls and e-mails from these people, but soon opportunistic vultures took advantage of the situation and turned a trickle into a flood, and it became a problem.

Therefore, we had to place this statement in it's place: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/Bagwell/bagwells_bass_tactics_22.html

I apologize for my part in the prank.  The joke/disclaimer was clear enough in the article to avoid in confusion.  Unfortunately, I didn't take into account that some people would post incomplete outtakes of the article on other forums, causing undue panic and confusion.  (Doing so violates copyright laws, but that another discussion)

Sorry folks, but the few jerks in this world spoiled the fun.

Glenn

Thanks for taking care of that Glenn.

JT Bagwell

It was nice knowing ya JT :)~ LOL.  Only on the internet!!!!  LOL  ;D Unbelieivable!!!  I will nip these posts in the bud where I see them elsewhere on the web.

Mike,

Hopefully everything will be taken care of now. I did what I was asked to

do as far as having the article removed. From this point forward, it is all

out of my hands.

To the best of my knowledge, I am not in trouble for anything because I

had permission to do the article and when it was requested that it was to

be removed, it was. It's not my fault it went way off course.

Not much more I could do in my opinion.
