big baits draw big strikes

Some one mentioned "Match the Hatch".   This is my topwater secret weapon, an 8 meter zara spook with dual blades.        Oh yes, the 'Bait Monkey is my jockey.    Killing 2 goals at once, setting a new Personal Best, and getting the monkey off my back.

I was told this wasn't,  but thought it was funny anyway.

That's a Terrific image Matt! :o :o :o :o

It would make a great ad for "Alka Seltzer" :)

I think in that situation I would retrieve my 8 meter, double bladed spook as fast as I could...those blades would just be ah' gittin' it.  :D

I'm still a little confused.  What size Power Pro are we talking about here?  800 or 1000 ?  ;)

I'm also wondering if that paddle is big enough to tow that puppy to port :-/

Now that's Funny!  Unless of coarse you're actually in that topwater bait.

The Old Man and the Sea? The phrase, "going to need a bigger boat" comes to mind too.

Just some movie references that come to mind.

Really!

If that IS photoshopped, they should've added a steel leader connected to the front of the Kayak heading off the end of the picture and maybe a treble hook dangling underneath it. Sort of a Land of the Giants theme.

Looks like he is going to hit it on the "pause"!

Iwould really like to see part 2 of that pic!

Someone showing off his jerkbait trolling? Which end do ya suppose will get jerked the most? He needed to be thinking about what might take that lure  :-/  It's kinda like the guy bragging at the marina he caught a 80# black bass. "What? That would  be a world record! What did you use for bait?"

"A 20# minnow."

Now that gives the expression "shore lunch" a completely different meaning.

I wonder if the kayaker did the paddle, paddle, pause, paddle, paddle, pause to get the follow on the "bait?" 8-)

Stop the boat. Hurry and put your fishing bait in the water...oh wait.....I AM THE TOP WATER BAIT......great that's a funny pic.  At least you could say you hooked a hog as you are rushed to the hospital.

I was hoping for a little better than this one.   Has the same mentality of a small bass that can whoop anything that crosses its path.
