Earthworm is a TV star!

Featured Replies

I was watching a new show on R&R network Sunday night call Lunkerville.  It is a show about a guy who travels to different parts of the country and fishes with a local expert.  Lo and behold Earthworm was the local expert this week.  Craig and his wife showed a little bit of the Micromunch tackle shop and Craig fished with the host on a small body of water.  He caught one that was probably around 5 lbs.  Not bad for NY.  It was pretty cool.

We have two other celebs on here that I know of ..... Randall and dodgeguy.  Both of them on the same show.

Craig moved to central Florida. I did not see the show, but if it was filmed recently, it was Florida not New York.

Oh yeah, and HawgHunter's local news station did a story on him.

That's awesome!!

EW- WHY DIDN'T YOU LET US KNOW THAT WAS COMING ON, I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE SEEN IT!

At one point or another they have all said they were on the show on this board.  That's how I found out about them

"NYPD Bass" is earthworm77

"Georgia on My Mind" is Randall

"Dodgeguy drives Hyundai" is dodgeguy

LBH, read up above.  I updated it.

I wasn't sure the show would actually be on the network yet. I knew L-Ville made a deal. This show that I did was one of 2. The one you saw was the pilot episode that was submitted to the network in late 2003 and it got picked up. It was a ton of fun but I was nervous. Once I caught the decent fish, I calmed down a bit and just went about my business. Funny part of the show was once I hooked the big fish I yelled to Mike, who was holding a full camera rig, to get the net. I immediately realized he couldn't and some uneasy laughter followed. I dropped an even larger fish about 5 minutes later, that would have really made the show but it turned out well.

If you go to my website and click on the freshwater tackle link, at the end of the first row of links, is a link to watch the show. Check it out. But I'm certainly not a TV star.

Thanks for the links. I really enjoyed seeing the guys fishing. I had never seen the show, but will make an effort to find it in the future. I wonder how many other "local experts" are on this site? I'm guessing quite a few.
