anyone ever see this thing or know what it is?

I"ve read this before.  I may be thinking of something else but I think they are talking about using a particular type of light that they lower into water which attracts baitfish food, then baitfish, and then eventually bass and other fish.

It is this product that uses cemicals to actract baitfish, thus actract game fish.

I personaly think it is cheating. Anyone can put that machine into the water, throw out a hook and bobber, and reel in fish.

Besides, when your catching hundreds of 10" crappies a hour, it gets old.

notice one of the quotes says "It's like an ocean aquarium..."

If you go to BPS, go to the fish tank, and hook a 20lb bass, it doesnt count. The same applys to this product, IMHO

just my .02

A very over-priced green light.

Cabelas has been selling a cheaper ( $20 ) version for years.

I used to use one for night time crappie fishing

Sometimes it worked very well.

you guys can't really believe something like this would be "cheating" do you ???

So you mean to say, that you two are the only ones here, who believe that this product is everything the scam artists selling it, say that it is ? :-) LOL

Anyway...... "EVEN IF" this product was that good, there is one universal truth in fishing.....

"There are NO silver bullits" ! Not a $2000 fish finder..... Not an aqua-view camera.... not Billy Bob's zippity doo-dah worms...... and certainly not this product either.

The only way to catch the most fish, and the biggest fish, is to get out there and fish your arse off !

Peace,

Fish

You know if something is a scam when one of the hook lines is "been kept a secret for X years."  Nothing can be kept secret. The Pentagon can not keep a secret, and lure manufacturers no sooner put out a bait than 20 other operators  put out a knock-off. If something works in the fishing industry, it will be in the pages of BPS or Cabelas within 90 days. If something doesn't work, but attracts gullible fishermen, it will be out in 60.

Thus spaketh the Bait Monkey.

Generally when something sounds to good to be true, it is too good to be true. When they have such a great product like this but have to throw in the free gifts, chances are you've read the advertisement too long....delete!

Guys there is no magic product that will make you a better angler.

Well heck, if it's only a green or chartruese light then why even spend $20? You can get single use chem lights in a similar color that should do ok.

Personally, I feel that it can't be cheating if you aren't using it in competition. If you're just trying to fill a cooler with crappie or other fish so you can have a cookout with fish for 20 people then there is no such thing as cheating. You either have enough fish for everyone to eat or you don't.

Just don't try to use something like that in a tourney.
