Crankbait for clear/stained water

Featured Replies

What is your favorite color for clear/stained water on a crankbait?

Chrome or white.

Are you talking about an all around color that you can use in both conditions or are you talking about a color that works well in a lake with a little color to it like 2-3 ft of visibility?

Not a very well worded question I know.

Lets go all around 2-4ft visibility.

My favourite stained water color is white or a pearl white.

I do like chrome baits.

I prefer the chrome sexy shad with 22" wheels and a 1000000 watt system. If that does'nt have the right bling shine I don't know what does

I like colors with a white or pearl belly and and backs with colors like green, brown, blue, black, purple, etc. Shad imitators.

I also like craw patterns in the spring. Especially brown back, chartreuse belly.

I really like root beer themed baits for this situation as well.  Those baits with a lot of browns and/or greens in them.

I have had a lot of success with Lucky Craft's Purple Perch color as well.

I'll go with the sexy shad too. My other favorites would be splatterback with an orange belly and rapalas pearl grey back. It's hard to go wrong with whites in water like that. If it is cloudy my very favorite is parrot-chart/blue back.
