I have found a small pond that is absoloutely covered with moss, surrounded by cat tails, and has a ton of underwater growth. However it is LOADED with bass. I used a top water frog, a small white rat, and plastic worms and lizards, and of course a SENKO... I caught 8 but none of them were very big at all. Any suggestions?

You didn't give a size, only that it is SMALL.  IMO, a small body of water that is choked by vegetation (from your description that's the way it sounds), may also be overloaded with small bass.  After all, there's only so much food to go around.  The heavy grass makes it easier for smaller fish to hide from the larger predators.  If no one is removing any fish from the pond it could well be overpopulated, hence the small size.  Not saying there isn't a big one or two in there, but I doubt there's a bunch of them.  Your lure selection is right on.  Keep at it.

I agree with everyone but would like to add one thing. Try a heavy jig or pegged T-Rig (1 ounce) to punch a hole in the mat and use a large bait like a strike king iguana or a 7 inck senko. The smaller more aggresive bass may leave these alone allowing the larger bass to zone in on this larger meal.

Well these bass were all about... a pound, and apparently there have been a couple 4.5 pounders caught out of it but i have not seen it...

I to would agree with trying a heavier weight and punching a bait down through the weeds, it's a great way to caych em in the summer when the sun is high.

Try some larger baits. Big spinnerbaits if you can get through the weeds if not some large topwaters like the LC Sammy 128.

I fish a 300 acre lake that gets loaded with underwater grass this time of year(also some floating grass pads).Along with the topwaters and shallow running cb's,I like to CAST a drop shot rig.It keeps my bait grass free and the weight slides easily through the grass.

Unless the grass is poking up thru the water, you might try a lipless crankbait that ticks the top of the grass.  When it snags, snap it up quickly and get back to reeling.  Strikes may come on the snap.

If it is like the pond close to my house there is no way to use a jig or larger bait. You will just pull out a larger mound of weeds. I use *** duper flukes. The bass here think they are yummy.

Well, there is no way that i can fish it with a larger bait, or a spinner, and absoloutely no way to throw a crank, because a treble hook would be disasterous. So this is a real set back...

Something I didn't see mentioned, but I put to good use fairly often:

Large unweighted plastics, and I do mean LARGE. Watching a big bass suck an 18" plastic worm through the weeds will get your heart pumping.

Unweighted plastics will slide right over that moss just like your frogs do.

Big bait...big fish.
