Featured Replies

They are all good baits and I am not putting any of them down! But I like the Netbait Paca craw and the Baby Paca better. I have the Rage tails but, for me I go with the Netbaits. ;)

Net Bait Paca Chunks are just about all I use.  I hear good things about the Rage Tail Chunk but they seem way overpriced.

When the fish want something subtle I go with a Chigger craw.

When the fish want something with more water displacement and action, I go with a Rage chunk.

x2.They are all outstanding baits though. I am partial to the pacas.Fish just straight up eat it and can be fished a hundred different ways in every kind of situation. No angler should be without it IMO.

We had a lot of success last year with the Rage Craw, both for LM and SM.  We use them Texas rigged on a weighted offset worm hook.  For a jig trailer, we use the Paca craw and baby Paca Craw.  Have not used the YUM Craw Pappy or the Berkley Chigger Craw.

Throw everything else away and keep the Pacas, those things are awesome.

My personal favorite is the Baby Paca Craw in Bama Bug Red you cannot beat it.

I have had great success with the Rage Tail Craws and Lobsters fished tx rigged.

If you look on youtube, there is a group called theluretour. They test out different lures in a fish tank. From what I have seen the netbait takes it all, the yum kind of just falls over and plays dead, I don't think I saw the ragetail on there though.

Yup, the craw papi is pretty dissapointing, the claws DO NOT flap and flutter on the way down like the paca craws, and on the bottom the nose of the craw papi floats (it's hollow) while the claws lay lifeless flopped over in front of it. Those baits look great in the package, but are turds in the water. I replaced them with paca craws and am glad I did. Yum does make a good "finesse" craw in the craw bug, but the craw papi is not there best effort.

I like all three baits.  I have had my most success with the baby paca craw in a watermelon red color.    I do like the rage tail craw's a lot, but they can be a bit expensive and tear easily!

Tight Lines!

I noticed a Rage Tail link at the bottom of your post. Are you sponsored by Rage Tail?   ;)

I like the Rage Craws. A tad pricey but they do work. Just bought some Gambler Flappy Daddys and they look great! I like 5" Pacas also.

I can't see paying $7.00 for 4 Money Craws.

No I am not, I am just a big fan of the Rage Tail baits, they have take my bass fishing to a new level.

all this talk of paca craws makes me sad i just went and they don't carry any :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Bass Pro has them, some Gander stores has them and there are many online sites has them.

i always have a paca craw on one of the flippin sticks, chunks are great also. Paca craws are on sale as part of the BPS Spring classic sale!

Both have great action, but the Rage Tail is made of a stronger plastic

and is more sturdy on the hook. I rarely lose one unless the jig is lost.

Regardless of the fishing conditions, the rocks are always hungry!

I am under the impression that Rage Tail tears easily. Am I wrong about that?
