Want to get some frogs???

Featured Replies

I want to get some frogs?? I have looked a spro, snagg proof, manns!!!!

which brand do yall like??, and what colors do i need for my arsenal....

The only Frogs i throw are the Spro Bronzeye Frog, in colors Black, Natural Green, Green Tree, & White. No need to get too fancy. Proven baits time and time again. BTW they are on sale @ tacklewarhouse.com for 7.99!

Spro bronzeye hands down IMO...I used to hate frog fishing because of the low hookup ratio (esp. in tournaments!!!) would fry my nerves :), but my after my little brother started stompin bass out of the back of the boat on a bronzeye jr while I was flippin up naught, I decided to give them another try, I have tried at least 4 major brands and after I tied on a full size bronzeye in the barney color about mid summer, I havent looked back...I do throw a black color when its overcast and alternate between sizes depending on how well they are gettin in thier mouth tho. I'm telling you his barney I use is a whole 'nuther animal, sometimes It seems he dives down under the slop and drags fish out on his own!...I am a hopeless frog convert ;)

Snagproof Bobby's Perfect. I've had better hookups than with Spro which seems harder.

Just my humble opinion.

Color is probably more important to you than the fish.

Can't wait to try their paddlefoot version!

SPRO Bronzeye, Bronzeye Jr and the new Bronzeye Popper.

River2Sea Bully Wa

Scum Frog Bigfoot

DEPS Basirisky

All are good frog baits.

agreed  ;)

I have 5 frogs.  2 Spro poppers one green one black and 3 regular Spros jungle green, yellow, and black.  The hookup problem can be helped by making sure the hooks are sharp and waiting a second or two when they get hit to set the hook.  I prefer Spro frogs because of their higher quality.  Price wise tho I'd probably own every color if they were closer to the $5 price point.  Nothing else is like topwater bite tho.  Even when I miss a fish its fun to watch a bass explode on them.

Deep South frogs from Cabelas

River 2 Sea

I caught more than 100 qualty bass last season using the Rage Tail Toad.

Bobby's perfect frog in cicada, brown bullfrog, or black is all you will ever need.

Rage Tail Toad here as well. They only wanted the okeechobee. I through all the other colors. Most of the fish that I caught last year were on this bait............................and yet I still bought other baits. d**n YOU MONKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
