Which do you enjoy more???

Although I enjoy the "kid in a candy store" feeling when I go to BPS, Gander Mountain, or Cabelas. There is nothing like feeling the fish pick up your bait, setting the hook, and fighting it back to the boat or shore.

i love to buy it, but using it is sooo much better

;D

I would have to say using it.  Look at it and buying it is great but no point in buying if you aren't using.

I hate to admit it (And will never admit this to my g/f), but I do enjoy buying/shopping for fishing stuff a little more than I do using it.  This is probably because I am semi new to bass fishing, and there is so much stuff I do not have.... YET

In season I rather use 'em the shop for them. But come the dead of winter, I love nothing more then shopping online or taking a day trip to Cabela's or BPS and buying till I drop.

If I didn't enjjoy fishing so much I don't think I'd have the desire to go shop / collect equipment.

To me catching fish is the puzzle. What can I do to catch more? What can I try?

Buying gear is just a piece of the overall puzzle. It is def a fun piece of the puzzle, maybe a little too fun on occasion! LOL

I shop a lot....but to me tackle is a tool. So even when I'm buying I'm thinking about using it.

I'd rather fish.

Bait monky be dambed! I'm going fishing!

Any one seen my wallet. HEY YOU PUT THAT DOWN. look like i'm going to the bait store

Although I do enjoy buying fishing tackle and gear, I like fishing with it more.  I guess it goes back to the being one with nature thing and being in peaceful surroundings.

I hate shopping. I hate even more hidding some of the stuff from my wife. She use to count my rods, but she finally gave up.

fishfordollars,

I hear you, I hate hiding the purchases from the wife too.  I try to limit my purchases now so I don't have to hide them from her.

I really enjoy shopping for fishing equipment, but I enjoy using it a whole lot more.

Both!  Part of the excitement for me is buying the latest lure, rode, reel, etc.  When I actually get to use it and land a fish on it, completes the circle.

Definitely fishing since my shopping consist of cheap line and the same ole grape twirly tail worm.  ;D

Definitely useing! Too me, most shopping :P is like a search and destroy mission: You know your objective. You get in, complete your objective, and get out with as few casualties as possible ;)...

                                         As Ever,

Well for me, baits look a lot better than they actually work. I buy a ton of THE bait and have more fun catching than wasting $ on things I may not get a single bite on.

It goes like this for me: #1 Catching fish, #2 Using quality equipment (casting/ retrieving), #3 Researching new tackle to buy, #4 Buying new stuff

I ll go with the 2nd option
