i'd say its a 15-17lb fish

It's bigger than anything I've caught.  :-/

its a real low quality pic but i'd have to say its real. doesnt look like anything too enormously huge, but it is no doubt a huge fish!

ds

The fishes eye is about the size of the guys largest knuckle noticeable in that pic.

Its a real pic of a real big bass though I honestly couldn't say if it was photo shopped in there.

its real and its really big but just keep in mind that the caera angle makes it seem alot bigger

exactly ;)

Try not to look at the fish and just look at the guy. His torso is super long and his hips are huge. He looks deformed. It could be photo shopped or it could be the picture angle. Either way the pic is very decieving. The fish is big but I dont think its hight teens. I would guess 12-15. Very hard to tell on this one.

Matt makes a good point, and it was the first thing I noticed.

The photo has a strong "fish-eye perspective". The eye of a fish is strongly convex so it can see nearly 180 degrees. The so-called fish eye perspective exhibits a swollen center that enlarges the subject while the tapering periphery diminishes all else. This effect can be created by holding a wide-angle lens tight to the subject. The shorter the focal length (wider the angle) the greater the fish-eye effect.

I don't think any of those fish are bigger.

Here's an example of another one that has obviously been photoshoppped.  Notice the large size of the abdomen (gut) directly behind the fish as compared to the shoulders?  Dead giveaway.

Then, perhaps this is:

My point is camera angle is everything.

Nope.

1st fish - 9.5 pounds

2nd fish - 10.5 pounds

3rd fish - 15.75 pounds

All weighed on an IGFA certified Boga Grip

I try to compare the persons hand in relationship to the bass's head; this guy conveniently conceals his hands.

i have seen that picture before if i remember it is like 15 lbs but that is a decieving angle but i still think it is real and i think it was caught in baccarac.

George i thought the first fish was bigger than the 2nd but you did not fool me on the last one because i it looked like an old picture plus he wasnt holding it out like the others fun game though

Agreed.  This fish looks all of 35-40 but is a mere 25ish.

Yeah but i'm sure that all the fish that Mr. Frodo holds up look 40lbs

El Salto?

I assure you Avid I am the straightest man alive! I just couldnt think of a good word to describe that pic. The man looks soo distorted. look how narrow his shoulders are comparred to his midsection. I would have guessed Georges biggest fish to be around the same size
