Well I'm just about to hit the bed, but I wanted to give a quick update.  

I practiced today and found a really nice bite flipping a jig.  That was what most other anglers were doing, but a few really got on them fishing hydrilla mats on the edge of Eufaula's deep ledges.  I'm hoping to flip a jig all day and get a few quality bites to advance me to day 2 and to allow me to keep 1st place.  I also got the opportunity to meet one of our members, NtroJack.  He was extremely nice and had some really encouraging words.  Bassresource is everywhere!!!  

Well, I gotta get some sleep.  Thanks again for the support, and an update will follow as soon as I get off the water.  Hopefully the report will come from my hotel room that I needed for an extra night!!!
