This weekend, BassResource.com will be represented on Mike Iaconelli's "City Limits" on the Versus Channel.  The show, shot in Seattle last August, premieres on Friday and will be shown on Saturday and Sunday.

Mike attempts the very difficult feat of catching a limit of bass in freshwater and a limit of salmon in saltwater....all in one day. But temperatures drop nearly thirty degrees overnight, and the fish have shut down. A massive storms moves into Seattle and a rare funnel cloud is spotted right where Mike is fishing. With no chance of getting a limit, Mike fights to the bitter end to avoid getting skunked.

This isn't a pro fishing in a stocked pond full of hungry bass. This is true reality folks.

Complete show times can be found here: http://www.versus.com/nw/article/view/63915/?UserDef=true&catID=78  Look for "Seattle". All times are Eastern.

Enjoy!

Awesome was he fishing with you?  This UMF and Scott Martin challenge are the best shows out there.  I like that they are different.  Can't wait to see the show.

He wasn't fishing with me, but he's fishing out of my boat for the bass fishing segment.  I was also interviewed, but don't know if ended up on the cutting room floor.  ;D

I love the show, but doesnt it always seem to drop 30 degrees the day before the shoot, and they end up with bluebird skies?   Looking forward to the show.

It does seem that the show has the worst luck.

TV is now set to switch to the Versus channel at the right time. ;D

Will view it this Saturday.

Thanks for the heads up.

That's one of the 30 or so fishing shows I have my DVR set to tape.

Glenn- Did they make sure your makeup and hair were just right and did they give you a flat brim Ike hat to wear cocked slightly to one side? ;D Never met Ike but would love too. Not too many guys share his passion.

The really great part of this show is that it is reality TV! No BS or canned fishing segments. It's what everyone is up against each time we go out fishing. Now Mike has everything at his disposal for equipment, is a professional tournament angler and is place on some tough waters. He success and/or lack thereof, makes us all feel better about our time on the waters. I like this show!

Very cool Glenn!!!

I have been a fan of Ikes from the beginning. I think this show captures what he is really like. I missed his appearence in Worchester Mass.    >:(

ajr

If anyone has Comcast cable, that show is also "On Demand" for free.

I wondered how we were being represented.  At first I was afraid the part about Ike trying to avoid the skunk was our representation.   ;)

I caught it for the first time last weekend, they were in Nashville. Very cool show!

By the way, while the Seattle show airs 3 times this weekend, according to the VS. website it will air several more times after than, even into March.

I've been waiting for this one for a long time.  Can't wait.  ;)

Cant wait, its a great show. Ike has grown on me...

My too. He add a bit of personality to bass fishing. A few years back everyone had a cow about how he acts. Now everyone tries to be more like him.

Big fan of Ike and City Limits, looking foward to saturday.

I have it set on DVR because I'm going to be away on all of those days >:(  great shown, made even better by Glenn, right :)

Any of you guys know what channel that would be on on Dish Network?  I have heard of Versus before, but never could find it.

cwb60
