Would Friday be a good day?

Featured Replies

OK, Monday the weather was sunny, temp was 95. Tuesday was sunny, temp 92. Wednesday was partly cloudy, temp 80. Today was cloudy, temp 65. And Friday is supposed to be cloudy with a little rain, temp 67.

Would Friday be a good day to go fishing?

Yes, as would saturday, sunday and monday.

Unless the weather is dangerous outside Most anyday is a good day to go out.

That's what I was thinking. Besides, isn't it cool to take on the toughest of conditions to challenge yourself? I'll fish any type of senario in an attempt to better my skills. Go for it, bro. Make us proud.

definintly i would rather fish on a day when conditions are just complete crap to make myself work harder for a bite  b.c. thats gunna give u confidence next time you wake up for a tournement and the conditions suck atleast thts how i see it

I'll put in my 2cnts.Got out Wed. on my local creek around 8am.Spent the first 20 mins.tossing an x-rap around a 200yd stretch of good smally area,no hits :'(Then I noticed some fish sucking stuff from the surface,Switched to a torpedo and BAM game on.That lasted about 45 mn.Tinkered a few more times, finally finishing with an unwieghted 6" wave worm, bite on till noon 8-).Landed 8 smallys,1 20" pike, lost probably twice as many smallys and had 3 trails by pike :)In my opinion not a bad morning,by the way I'm a bank fisher and that day was clear with a high pres.syst.coming thru 8-)So I must agree any day is a good day for fishin just be ready to adapt ;)

I honestley am going through the same exact thing as you . sunny all week. and the weekend i get to go fishing. fri mostly cloudy 30%,sat scattered t storms 40%,and sun isolated t storms 40%. but my temps will still be in the low to mid 80's. and yes im still going

Here in Central FLA it has rained everyday since last Sunday. Some places got as much as 24". My local pond is up 15" in 4 days.

With that said, I have fished everyday, average of 2.75 hrs a day in the rain (no lightning).

The first couple of days the big fish had moved in shallow < 2' then they moved out a bit.

Don't let the rain stop you, but don't be a nut for the lightning bolt.

I hate wet feet.

I agree. Anytime is good so long as it is not dangerous weather. I went out last night, fishing from shore (fisrt time night fishing) and just after dark I pulled in a 6# that hit my rat-l-trap not 4 feet from shore while it was raining. Friday sounds good, go for it.

I'm gonna go do some fishing today. It has been raining for almost a week here in Jax and it's still raining a little bit.

Every day is a good day for Fishing ;)

nothing but dangerous weather stops me from wetting a line!
