Yeah, I 'm in bass fishing paradise, theoretically speaking we can bass fish year round, but the past 3 weeks pardise hasn 't been so paradisiatic as it should be, man, the danged weather SUCKS !!!!!!!!!! > > > if it ain 't raining then it 's been too windy to go wet a line, or rains and it 's windy :-/. I went fishing today. It was 28 degrees, I was tossing a spoon in an open piece of water that looked like a swimming pool - the surface water temp was 33 degrees in the open patch. The rest of the lake surface is frozen. I was watching the water surface start to freeze right where I was standing on the bank. Then my line guides on the rod kept icing up and I kept having to clear them. Then my fingers went from stinging to numb so I decided to call it a day. Didn't catch a thing...

But at least I got to go fishing! ;D ;D

If that's really your experience where you fish, I don't know whether to feel amazingly sorry for you because you can't fish, or call you amazingly spoiled.  Either way, you're one lucky dude so don't feel TO bad.

This is why I wait until spring to go back out there.

Raul as you can see from some of the comments, those of us to your north aren't very sympathetic to your rain and wind. temps are going to be in single digits and below zero (Fahrenheit), 5" of snow, and winds to 35MPH for the next few days here in the Midwest.

Just put on some rain gear and man up. ;D

I live in Clearwater Fl. and they are predicting snow here for the first time in 34 years.

Raul I don't feel bad for you, You'll have nice weather next week.  Right now it's 21 degrees and tonight were getting another 6 inches of snow on top of the foot we already got. I go out and plow the snow on my quad atleast that's keeping my busy.

Does anyone know if TW is publicly traded?  If so, I wonder if this would be the right time to buy their stock - with Raul getting ready to go shopping and all...;D

Today, it's 10 degrees with a 20-30 mph NW wind.

My local fishing holes have a foot or more of ice on them, and the next couple of nights are predicted to be -10.

But, on a positive note, I just picked up some Lake Fork 'Live' Magic shad in both the 3.5"and 4.5" sizes for $1.00 a pack on clearance at the local Wal-Mart. ;D
