Ok, so I went on down to the river today, and it was rediculously muddy, so I threw a spinnerbait with a trailer dipped in jj's majic. This is the first time I've used the stuff, and I could use some advise on what to do with a bait after using this it. I put the whole spinner with trailer in a ziploc bag, but you can smell this stuff from 2 rooms away, and its still in my tackle box! Any ideas? Thanks

Leave it outside for a few weeks. The smell does get weaker after a week or two.

That's funny, i just bought jj magic. I've had to triple bag my worms with zip lock bags. You will still smell it, but's not that strong.

Reading this post got me to laughing.  Did I ever tell you guys about the time I rubbed a whole bunch oh JJ's under the car door handle of one of my workmates?  He came into the office for at least 2-3 days smelling like he took a bath in garlic.   It was fricking great because he is a real pain in the donkey.

Try a Tupperwear type container.  :)

As I see it, you've got a couple of choices.

1.) Don't worry about it you'll get used to it and start eating a lot of Pizza.

2.) Swab the inside of your nose with a light coat of Petroleum Jelly thus covering the receptors. LOL

Put bait(s) in a ziplock bag and hide outside closest Italian restaurant.

No one will notice. I have same problem using Chompers Garlic scent.

My wife asked if we were having pasta for dinner.

Ziplock bag inside a plastic container will take care of the problem.

Thanks, everybody. Good stuff about the tupperware. I did that, now I just have to air out my box! Thanks a lot!

My old lady gave me grief about the frequent tackle shipments I was receiving. I tossed a Powerbait worm under the seat of her car one hot day---haven't heard a word since.
