I have only seen one issue all winter. Can't find a copy in Walmart, Kmart, or any of the supermarkets.

Yeah, can't find it in Books a million either. Will keep looking around I guess.

The last issue of Bassin' Magazine that I bought last summer advised people that the best way to fish worms and jigs was on spinning tackle with 20 lb. mono.

You'd be better off if you stopped looking.    ;D

I have an issue that says Jan/2011.  I think they only put out either 4 or 6 issues a year.

They send me mine with regularity. Bassin' is published 6 times per year, every 2 months. Best bass magazine out there. The most recent edition is the January 2011 copy. I got mine middle of December.

I do agree its a real good mag, that is if they ever send it to you. I think I received two issues out of the six and that was the last I heard of them.

I wont ever subscribe again, but if I see one on the store shelf I will buy it.

A couple years ago someone posted a link here to bassin on Ebay.  I susbsribed, and never received a single issue.  I think I paid like $9. 

They use to carry it here locally, haven't seen it in ages.  Doesnt sound like I'm missing much.

I subscribed years ago. They always messed up my subscription and wanted me to send more money and subscribe again. I quit. Now I pick one up in the store on occasions. I think it is the best on the shelves around here.

It's an okay magazine, it has bass fishing in it so it can't be that terrible. I paid like $15 for 3 year worth on ebay, and it's been a year and I"ve gotten all of them, I did have to call them when I saw the latest issue on the shelves and didn't have mine yet, so they sent me another issue and by the time iI got it, I had received my original one in the mail. Worth the money if you can get a deal on it, and if they mess up and miss an issue, call them, they treated me fairly.

I used to get that magazine years ago and was told not to renew because it was going out of publication. What happened did go out and then come back or where they aquired by another company and then continued?

If you get a chance check out the FLW outdoors magazine. I have been impressed by it lately. They cover the FLW trail of course but they also have great articles. And even when they cover the trail they often go into good detail on how the event was won.

Spend your money on " the bait monkey" and don't waste it on magazines.

Agree.  Some really decent articles in FLW Outdoors.  As for BASSIN', IMO it's way better than it used to be.  The articles were short, and basically didn't say much at all.  Today, it's quite a bit better.  Not a premier magazine, but not all that bad, either.

DO NOT subscribe. They suck as far as content and as far as service.
