If you could ask Bobby Lane one question

Hi All,

I will be interviewing Elite Pro Bobby Lane at the Bassmaster Classic. He won the Rookie of the Year award in BOTH the FLW Series and the Elite Series. This will be his 4th Classic.

I would like to ask him questions that matter to you most. So if you could ask him one question, what would it be?

As someone who is most noticeably a shallow water, grass fishing expert, where did the confidence come from to fish deep for his win on Kentucky Lake?

Maybe ask him that with him being an up and comer and doing so well so far,how much pressure is on him trying to win another classic at such an early stage in his career?

How does he feel his peers, who have been at it much longer than him, are taking to his early career success?

Could this be the next KVD or Rick Clunn?

Mr. Bobby Lane,

If you were only allowed one lure to fish a tournament, what lure would it be, and why?

Do you think its harder or easier to have family compete with you in your profession?

If you were a hot dog, would you eat yourself?

Never laughed so hard at a comment on here.

"Hey! If the moon were made of bbq spare ribs, would you eat it?!"

What are the lures you always have rigged?

What is generally the first technique you use with when you hit the water?

Being a Florida man what is your favorite Florida lake to fish?

What is your favorite month to fish in Florida and explain why and what technique to use.

What's the very first thing you do when you get to an unfamiliar body of water? Do you run around looking at the graph? Start fishing and covering as much water?

Have you ever tried fluoro with topwater? If so, do you like it? Because I, BASSclary, does.

How do you prepare physically for a long tournament? Exercises, nutrition, etc...

Do you even own a spinning rod?

Lets just say your fishing a tournament in Florida. You're on a very hot hollow body frog bite, but its in February and there is an unusual weather pattern, and due to such cold, the shallows and mats freeze a nice layer on top. So now that you frog bite has to end, how do you react and what do you switch to first?

HA! I fished with Bobby day 2 of the FLW Tour up at Clewiston and asked him that very question. He still has a fondness for Kissimmee but also named Orange and Toho too
