I just registered to this site and wanted to say hello to all, and compliment a great site. I live in northeast connecticut, I love bass fishing and hope to continue my "bass education" with aid from this site.

You hit the right place to learn about bass fishing.

Just read, read and read some more.

Dr. Keith Jones' book, Knowing Bass, discusses the bass's skin and how temperature plays an important part in the fish's life.  You may want to get the book and read the "skin" chapter and find out about the water temperatures since you live so far up north where it stays cold 11 months of the year.

Welcome aboard. Great guys and even better information.

Wow, quick responses, Sam thanks for the advice as I cannot seem to read enough about fishing. I have been fishing all my life pretty much and have recently introduced my 4 year old daughter to this awesome sport. There really is nothing better than being out on the water with her and spending quality time together( for 4 years old she really has quite the attention span for fishing). On a side note I am altering my profile and can't seem to figure out how to add a picture to my signature and was wondering if someone could help out.
