Hey guys, I am new here as you can see. I used to fish a little about four years ago, but since then i havent even touched a fishing pole. but now i am trying to get back into bass fishing. basically i am what you can call a newbie to bass fishing. i live in austin texas. any advice will be great. just to let you guys know the main lures i am going to use (because i havent started fishing yet) is 4" senko rigged wacky style. another main lure is the new rapala x-8 lure.  let me know if that is good for a begginer.

Thanks.

Welcome to the list.

I've been told it isn't the lure, it's the knowledge of where to put the lure that is most important. And, that comes with time on the water.

GO FISH! :)

Welcome to the best site on the net!!!!
