Tampa Bay newcomer

Featured Replies

Hello Fishermen and Lady Anglers;

I' m primarily a salt water fisherman with a sprinkling of fresh water bass fishing thrown in for good measure. I've been at it in the Tampa Bay area for more than 60 years ( boy seeing that in print makes me feel ancient ) and I'm still learning. I already posted a query on this forum about Hard Bodied Bass lures and would like to thank all those who replied. I'm still gathering info on the most popular Bass lures and when I compile all the answers I'll post here with the results. Thanks for having me on board.

HELLO AND

How Y'all Are? ;)

Welcome Capt Jim P.

Where around Tampa have you been fishing.

I live in Clearwater and have been spending a lot of time on Lake Tarpon.

I am finally starting to figure out where the fish are.

I am looking forward to trying some new spots and maybe I'll see you out there.
