Florida Fisherman

My name is Stuart and I moved to Florida 4 years ago. Prior to moving here I lived on a 1200 acre lake just outside of Detroit. Our lake had a wide variety of fish, largemouth, smallmouth, crappie(we called them calico bass)perch, pike and even some lake trout.

Once down here in Florida my fishing now consists of snook, tarpon and jack crevelle, I head out to the ocean or the icw every morning every day. After the bite is dead in the salt I fish for bass and peas(butterfly peacock bass). I mainly use spin gear but get the ole fly rod once in a while.

I'm very interested on different techniques and general all around info.

Falcon

Cass Lake in Oakland county.  My family had a cottage there back in the 50's & 60's, before there were year round residences there.  As an adult I bought a home there.
